bk Interferenzoptik develops and manufactures thin-film coatings, particularly interference filters, for industrial and scientific applications. The company was founded in 1991 by Reinhard Baumer in Nabburg, Germany. In 2018, we acquired Dr. Hugo Anders Optische Laboratorien.

With extensive expertise in the research, development and manufacture of high-quality optical filters, we have also established a worldwide reputation for our standard and custom coatings. Our collaboration with Prof. Dr. Stefan Sotier, which began when the company was founded, has proved particularly successful.
